  • ICE Solar Films are a product of A & B Films Pte Ltd, Singapore. A & B Films has been a pioneer in the window film industry for more than 30 years now. From our humble beginnings as an installer, we moved to becoming distributors for some of the most prestigious brand names in the industry. As the demands of our customers changed, we decided to move into manufacturing the window films ourselves as this will allow us to control the design and specifications of the films itself. We sourced for the raw materials, such as dyed films and sputtered films, and we engaged a converter to convert these materials into finished window film products for us.

    In the earlier years of the 21st century, we began to work together with NI Teijin Shoji, a sister company of Teijin Dupont Films. We acquired the exclusive rights to the sputtered films produced by NI Teijin Shoji. This sputtered film was originally designed for blocking certain spectrum of radio waves. We worked with the Research and Development department of NI Teijin Shoji to further develop this technology into window film applications. The end result is ICE Solar Films. ICE Solar Films are able to selectively block Infra Red Radiation rays from the sun while maintaining its high light visibility. This extraordinary benefit enables it to be used in automotive and flat glass applications where it is in high demand now.

  • A & B Films Pte Ltd is ISO 9002 certified. This certification warrants us to continue and further our commitments to consistent quality production and service to our customers. We are also a member of the International Window Films Association (IWFA), the Association of Industrial Metalizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). All our window film products are listed in the International Glass Data Base (IGDB).

    NI Teijin Shoji is a sister company of Teijin Dupont Films and a subsidiary of Teijin Ltd, one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of fabrics and other substrates. Teijin Dupont Films is one of the world’s biggest suppliers of polyester films. In addition, they have a world-class laboratory that carries out research and development of new materials for various industrial and consumer applications.
